WHALE WATCHING

In the east of the Province of Quebec, where the river is wider and open to all kinds of explorations, we find 13 of AML Cruises' 18 boats: 3 intermediate ships and 10 zodiacs.

Each boat has its region and its speciality.  The Grand Fleuve, for instance, is mainly oriented towards whale observation (Whales & Fjord), that is, on the river. The Cavalier Royal, on the other hand, is focused on the exploration of the Fjord Saguenay (The grand Cruise). Owing to a different configuration of the river, the Cavalier des Mers is more involved into a safari type of cruise (The Grand Maritime Safari), where observation is extended towards marine birds, seals and belugas, as well as whales. Last but not least, a fleet of  zodiacs offers exciting cruises (Zodiac Expedition> and Zodiac Adventure), that allow for a maximum of contact with the river and its inhabitants, for the greatest pleasure of the daring ones, looking for adventure

The Cavalier Royal also offers every morning a shuttle service (Taxi Royal) linking Baie Ste Catherine and Tadoussac to Anse St-Jean and Baie Trinité. Whatever the package, however, every cruise brings its own share of wonders. You won't be the same when you're back.

Since the beginning of the 20th century, this sector was recognize for his incredible fishing places. Impressed by the special flora and fauna found at this altitude people named it Grands Jardins.  Summer outdoor activities to enjoy fishing, hiking, canoeing.  This park was recognize by Unesco as part of the heart of the World Biosphere Reserve.  It is accessible by St-Urbain village.

This park is one of Quebec’s most beautiful natural monuments. At the foot of the highest peaks  the valley offers spectacular scenery and striking landforms for explorers to discover. Multiple discovery and attraction : canoe, kayak, bicycle, riverboat, hiking. This park has the privilege to constitue the central area of the World Biosphere Reserve.  You can reach it via Saint-Aimé des Lacs village.
